CANDLE CARE TIPS!

There is no better feeling than lighting your favorite candle, and enjoying the enticing aromas that fill the room. However, it is very important to keep a few safety tips and tricks in mind before doing so!

  1. Always keep your wick centered and trimmed to ¼’’ at all times
  2. Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time
  3. Keep candle out of the reach of children and pets
  4. Burn the candle within your sight at all times
  5. Never burn a candle on or near flammable items/materials
  6. Make sure that candles are always free of debris
  7. Only place candle on surfaces that are high temperature safe
  8. Do not put lid on top of candle to extinguish the flame, always blow it out
  9. Discontinue use when ¼’’ of wax remains in the jar

RELEVANT INFORMATION:

After initially burning the candle, you may see tunneling of the wax in the center of the candle near the wick- the burn pool. This happens due to not allowing the candle the proper amount of time to evenly burn and melt the wax.

It is recommended to burn the candle initially a minimum of 2 hours, then a maximum of 4 hours for future use. Remember to not burn the candle longer than 3-4 hours at a time to prevent a fire hazard. This will allow the candle the proper amount of time to burn and create a strong fragrance throw, prevent tunneling, and maintain the highest performance throughout the life of the candle.

If the flame becomes too high, extinguish it immediately and let the wax cool/re-harden completely. Once it has hardened, trim your wick to ¼’ and burn it again.

Please remember that our 7oz candles are meant to be used in a smaller room for highest performance. I recommend burning two 7oz candles in a larger room. 14.5 oz jars coming in 2023!

7 oz candles have approximately 60-70 hours of burn time.
